Hello guys,
A quick question here!
During our recent trip to Vegas, my husband had a triumph in a casino; the winnings were subjected to a 30% tax. However, the casino manager informed him that he could claim the tax back upon entry into Canada. Upon research, we could see many ads on U.S. tax recovery; therefore, we have requested a quote from one of them. Meanwhile, we got to know that the U.S. casino industry is soliciting tax and regulatory relief from the government. Of course, we can understand that casinos are trying to recover from the coronavirus outbreak, which has cost them more than $2 billion in lost tax revenue while they were shut down for four months this year. Hence in a situation such as this, is it likely we can recover our taxes. Have any of you been in these shoes recently?
I really appreciate any help you can provide.
Thanks!
